Empellón Taqueria (West Village) Chile Relleno Tacos

Take a poblano pepper. Roast it, stem it, slit it, and stuff it with cheese. Then, dunk it in egg batter, fry it until golden, and let it take a swim in some stewed tomato salsa. Place it upon a warm corn tortilla with onion, cilantro, and crema. Do all that, and you have this week’s #TacoTuesday special.
